Veneers will change and improve your smile and your confidence! At Alluvial Dental Center, Dr. Andy Park offers three types of veneers: porcelain, composite, and lumineers. All options are great. Choosing which is right for you will be done between you and Dr. Park. One popular option is porcelain veneers. We often are asked several questions about specific veneers. Let’s discuss porcelain veneers and answer three common questions that we hear about them.
“What are some common problems that porcelain veneers can fix?”
Porcelain veneers can help close unsightly spaces between your teeth. They can fix cracked, injured or fractured teeth. They can give you teeth a white and brighter smile. They can also restore missing teeth.
“Why would I choose porcelain veneers?
All three veneer types are great options, although each one has its benefits. With porcelain veneers, they are the most common option because they provide a very natural look.
“What is a sample process for porcelain veneers?”
The process for each patient will vary depending on your needs, but we always start with a plan for your smile. We envision and discuss your current condition and your dreams for what your new smile will look like. We then remove a small amount of enamel to prepare for porcelain veneers. Impressions are taken and poured into stone to make a mold. Your new smile is created in a lab, and on your final appointment the porcelain veneers are bonded using a light curing composite, ensuring your veneers are firmly attached to your teeth. They are polished and your new brilliant smile is complete!
If you’re interested in veneers for your brilliant new smile, call Dr. Park today. He can discuss which veneer is right for you and your needs!
